SQL Server 2005 and Saleslogix PerformanceYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hello,

I have just recently migraged SLX 6.2.6 to a new Dual Quad Core server with 4GB of RAM. I'm not sure how best to configure the RAM and the CPUs for SQL Server. Should I let SQL Server manage the resources or should I specifically allocate the resources to leave some for the Saleslogix server related services?

Saleslogix slows down for everyone when I import records using the importwizard and also do merge opperations, but I see plenty of CPU resources available during these times. The RAM seems to always be around 3GB in use by the SQL Server service.

Any help would be very much appriceated.

...Rob
