how to configure sync? I wrote a agent and clicked on sync in sync server but it says agent not started. what needs to be checked? I have the sync folder in e$ and is shared. will it not work if the sync is in a different folder other than c$?

Remote DB question

where can I download SalesLogix 7.0 Trial? Will I be able to test remote db setup locally using trial version? how to test it in same machine?

what steps needs to be followed to install remote?

I know that to be able to install remote, we have to make sure that all tables are created thru db manager and there should not be any views created. Is it mandatory to have FTP or http?

I know there is plenty of documentation but it doesnt seem to work for me

( I am new to these concepts)

I just want to learn and perfect this whole concept in one machine first. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot "download" version(s) of SalesLogix unless you are a "partner". You have to go to your BP... Also IF you are "current" in paid up on your maintenance to Sage SalesLogoox you would have received not only a 7.0 but the 7.2 dvd directly.

SalesLogix is sold ONLY thru certified/registered Sage SalesLogix Business Partners. Obtaining it any other way is illegal...
