SLX 7.2 client and Windows Vista

7.2 definitely works with vista, IF the user has administrative rights to the system. In our environment, we only allow our users POWER USER access and the SLX client fails to startup.
It launches and stalls on the "Creating Data Access" screen. Even choosing "Runas Administrator" doesnt work. You MUST be logged in as a user with Administrative rights.
Has anyone found a way around this? I have turned off UAC and turned DEP on only for critical Apps.
Are we the only organization that has tighter security for our employees? Surely, someone has also run into this problem?
