Attaching database

Hi all,

I am trying to have a database server and application server where the DB server has the SLX Db.I am trying to attach the db using the "install SQL databse " from setup .But when i click to attach db it say

"Error Validating database server :Invalid class string"

Please help me to slove this issue.

My first thought would be that SQL DMO is not installed on this server.
If you can't attach it with the tools, go ahead and attach it manually, should be pretty simple to do.
