Hi,

I know that the users "Webdll" and "Slxservice" has to be created at the domain level before SLX installation.
My question is can we have different username like "WebUser","ServiceUser" instead of "Webdll" and "SlxService".
Will the application work for the new usernames.

Thanks
-Pandi.

We are not using the web product so I can't answer for that but for SLX and SLXMobile, we use a different id for running the services. In our experience, the id just needs to have the proper rights on the OS since it doesn't log into the database.

The name of the Users being used doesn't matter, what matters is that they have the necessary rights to run the services and access the resources.
If you are confortable setting up SLX, then use your own names. The advantage of using the suggested names is that it makes it easier to troubleshoot when one needs to refer back to the Implementation guide.
