Saleslogix v 6.1 new user setup and network client install

fiogf49gjkf0d I'm a consultant for a client who has saleslogix v6.1, the client has hired a new employee, my question is do anyone have instruction to setup a new user id , and network client install, we have windows 2000 advanced server, windows xp professional workstation, also I have the administrative id and password. any help would be appreciative. Thanks |

fiogf49gjkf0d The network client installation is fairly straight forward. The SalesLogix documentation is on the SalesLogix CDs. Do you have the CD? The only trick part will be figuring out what Service Packs or HotFixes you need. We can figure this out by getting the versions of the EXEs and DLLs off and existing system.
In addition to installing the network client software on the desktop PC you will need to run the SalesLogix Workgroup Administrator to add a user profile for the new user. This is also straight forward. The online help in the WorkGroup Administrator is also quite good.
