Hello,
this is the message that I get when I try to sync my syncserver :

Synchronization failure
CloseAndRenameStream 1
Access Violation at address 00847443 in Module 'SyncServer.exe'. Read of address 00000000

Any idea on this error message

I have seen "CloseAndRenameStream", but only with the number 4 after it, and only with these messages:
"Unable to establish database connection for key generation Could not establish connection with SLXServer. Check server is running and PORT is correct" and "Invalid table name"

For the "Invalid table name" error, we found out that someone had accidentally renamed the SyncSequencing table. Funny stuff.

What version of SalesLogix are you using? And even though it may be insulting for me to ask such a question, did you stop and restart the sync server service (and make sure that the SyncServer.exe process stopped running when you shut down the service)?

Thank you Jeff for your reply. the issue was that I was running out of space in my DB server, once we added more space to the drive problem was solved
