SLX 7.5.1.1742 on Vista 64bit os gives error

Hi,
We have installed SLX 7.5.1.1742 on laptop having Vista 64bit os. During setup we didn't got any error or warning. When we started using it first time we entered valid username and password and we are getting error " Database login failed: Catastrophic failure ". We have installed SQL native client 64bit on laptop.
Any suggestion will help us..

Are you able to do "Test Connection" succesfully?
Is this laptop a Remote (has its own DB) or is it connecting to a Server?
If it connects to the network, does it have name resolution to both the SLX Server and SQL server?
If it is a remote, has the Connection been setup properly on Connection Manager? Has the password been saved (you should review make sure it did stick). |
