Hello fello Saleslogix Support.

I recently have a client where they have a number of users using Saleslogix and they get the error message stated in the subject when carrying out tasks in Saleslogix. This error occurs quite frequently and the user has to shut down Saleslogix and start again until the error appears again.

What I have noticed though, is that some network users only have Saleslogix version 7.5 and others have Saleslogix version 7.5.2 where the Service Pack 2 has been installed. But the Saleslogix Application Server where the Saleslogix Administrator is and the Saleslogix database is only of version 7.5.
Would this be a possible casue for the error: Access Violation at address 00702482 in module Saleslogix.exe. Read of Address 00000208?

Or could there be other causes and if so what solutions are there?

Hi Derek,

I would definitely recommend that you ensure the SalesLogix system and users are all running the same version of SalesLogix. Its a good place to start with these type of errors.

Hello,

I have recently upgraded all netork users and the Saleslogix server and database to 7.5.2 together with with users that gain access to Saleslogix through a terminal server. The users that gain access through the terminal server get this error:

Access Violation at address 00702482 in module Saleslogix.exe. Read of address 00000208.

Any further advice or suggestions will be very welcomed.
