A remote client using XP Pro, SLX 7.5.4 and Outlook 2010 receives this message "Could not login to Outlook. Make sure Outlook is properly installed.  Invalid class string".  I don't know how to help him.

I did see "The "invalid class string" refers to it not finding a given COM Object registered."  but I don't know what that means or how to fix it.  I don't have the laptop.  Hopefully it is simple and the User can follow the instructions.

Thank you

Thank you for replying

I apologize, I don't know what bittage means.  The Outlook version is 2010 on XP Pro SP3.  We have not resolved this issue yet.  I am ever so greatful for your input.

Is the version of Outlook a 32bit version or 64bit (only 32bit is supported).

Thank you for that input.  It is a 32 bit version.
