I have a customer applying HotFix 3 for 6.2.3 They receive the following error:

Internal Error 2709
SLXProfiling.dll: 2F1986CD_8018_4A7E_B30E_29355ACFC582

Does anyone have any ideas? According to the files in the HotFix doc, the slxprofiling.dll isn't even being updated. I'm not sure what the issue could be.

If anyone has an idea, feel free to share!

Thanks,

Jeff

I know this is a late reply, but here is some food for thought...

Typicaly "*.dll.********_****_****_****_************" files referenced in an installation error message tells me the client may have not used the InstallShell.exe from the ServicePack/HotFix to update their network image. If that's not the case, I have resolved these types of issues by fully removing the SalesLogix client and reinstalling from the "network image" if one has been built.

I've typically found dll issues to be related to NAV (Anti-Virus) issues. It has a very bad reputation about messing up installs/upgrades. Shut it down when doing anything..
