Just thought I would share some problems I had yesterday installing SLX 7.

On four Windows 2003 servers I had exact same problem:
a) Upgrade database utility would not run - I never managed to fix this one - just ran it on an xp workstation!
b) Saleslogix (all clients) would not open - gave windows error referencing 0x0eedfeed.

Well I was stumped and a little concerned, tried to play with Executable programs in the environment area of system, but no joy - it worked fine on workstations.

Anyway I installed sp1 for SLX 7 and the problem went away.

Just thought it was worth sharing.

Kind Regards

Nick

Nick, where have you been - under a rock ??!!

This was all the timezone issues (which, SP1 fixed - hence, why it worked - what a miracle !!

Doh

The fact that SLX was working when I got to the machine made me discount timezone as a possible cause, but of course the previous version of SLX they had was 6.1 ...

As I said - Doh!
