Using SendSLX / Citrix

Does anyone know if the following is possible:
- Outlook 2003 is installed locally on client’s computer
- SLX V7 is installed on Citrix (TS) environment
Is there any way of configuring the local PC so that the user can use “Send SLX” from Outlook to record history on SLX running on Citrix?
If it is possible, is there any documentation to explain the configuration required?
Many thanks
Phil

At one time (back in 5.2 days) there was a "hack" where you made a registry change and could do this. AFAIK it's no longer supported. IN fact.. it worked rather poorly.. We set it up for a client (3+ years ago).. it lasted 3 days.. we took it out and never looked back.

Phil,
I agree with RJ. Switch the user to launch Outlook from the Citrix console that SalesLogix is launched from. Or, better yet, install SalesLogix on the client machine in question.

Thank you both for the replies - I'm actually surprised that it was ever possible at all!

Sometimes it worked.. sometimes it did not. There were serious security issues with it

I' definitely recommend the user run Outlook and the Client directly from the CITRIX session. We have it setup here and there is a little extra involved with getting the Outlook profile setup to match between workstations... but if you have a standard all should be fine.
