Client PC - SEND SLX Button disappeared from Outlook and Log to History Button not visible

This just happened and usually recovery method fails (Tools/Options/Email etc in sLX and Add in Manager in Outlook + Stop start Outlook)

Go To SLX works OK - justc cannot log to history or end SLX

Sales Logix Version 6.2.20.1474

This problem occured just before the DST update and reboot, registry change later made to fix SLX run error

You need to re-register slmn.dll and slxab32.dll. Here is an article on this with more detail: http://www.slxdeveloper.com/page.aspx?action=viewarticle&articleid=94

Also, if you just installed the Microsoft DST patch then you will soon need to upgrade your SalesLogix version to 6.2.6.1007, unless you have applied to SalesLogix registry workaround to allow 6.2.0.1474 to work with the recent Microsoft DST patch.

You can also use the

InstallOutlookIntegration.bat

file found in the SalesLogix program folder. This will register the DLLs for you.

Worked a treat and I now have a useful utility if it happens again
We have run the SLX utility to change the registry settings so SLX now working again after DST patch applied
