Getting back to SalesLogix after a few months "off"...On my local demo machine (XP Pro) installed v 7.01.1069. Some of the time I can open SalesLogix Demo with no connectivity issues, but more often, I am finding that I cannot connect to the SQL instance if my machine has been on for a few hours. I can test successfully in the ODBC, but I try the Connection Manager and it takes about 30 seconds to open, when I refresh my machine name is not available and I have to reboot my machine in order to open SalesLogix or Administrator.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Renee,
Is this a laptop?.. possibly going into hibernation/sleep? - Disable it.

RJ,
I did disable the Hibernation, and rebooted...I then restarted the Enterprise Manager (after verifying Port 1433)...I will let the laptop sit for awhile and then test it again. Many thanks for the suggestion.

Stop\Start the MSSQLSERVER service if this happens again to keep from having to reboot.
