Access Violation in Event Viewer for SalesLogix Sync Server ServiceYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

The manual sync works great. My problem is that I receive the following message in the Event Viewer for the Sync Service:

Error running jobs. Access violation at address 004C5E4F in module 'SyncService.exe'. Read of address 00000014

As far as I can tell, the user logging into the service is a domain user. I am able to stop and start the service without issues. Any ideas?

When you run the Sync Manually, are you logged on with the same account that you have configured the service to run as?

Did you save the password when you defined the Data Link (again, logged on as the Service Account User)?

Do you run the manual Cycles with all the options set, or only pick a subset of the options? If so, you may want to run the manual cycle with all the options set and see if you can reproduce the problem

Also, what version of SLX and what service packs / hotfixes have been applied your system? And, have they been applied consistently to all the necessary Servers?
