I am creating a new field on a SLX table database on main office, but the new field doesn´t create on remote office database during sync cycle. This new field creates correctly on remote users database.... but why doesn´t create on remote office ???


Anybody have any idea about what is happening??

How are you creating the new field? In the DBManager in the Administrator? Or some other way?

Hi.

I created the new field in Db Manager in the Architect. But I tryed creating another new field in DBmanager in the Administrator, but neither of both sync

What could be happening???

Are you sure the Sync process is running on the Remote Office? If it isn't it might explain why the changes are syncing to remotes but not the remote office.

If it is, are other (data) changes being synced?

The other thing is to look for errors on the remote server such as "...this file is newer than your database..." when sync is running. It maybe that someone accidentally cut a new database sometime without applying it.

Whatever is happening, I would recommend that you get a recut in there and then test to see if new fields sync.

I reviewed the syn cerror and sync status files on remote office and I find an error for each sync cycle

This error was occurring since several days ago. It was the reason the sync files was not aplying the new changes on remote. To correct this, I searched the ZIP-QV34-A3005OD.TNV3 on Sync logs on remote and main office and deleted it. Also I restart the sync client on remote office.

Now sync for remote is working properly.
