Synchronization issues... sometimes for some users
Posted: 27 Jan 09 10:51 AM
Recently some sync issues popped up for remote users. We have a bundle using a custom table to hold information about product samples sent. Two different remote users cannot see 2 different sample request records.
Other things seem to be syncing just fine, there are no outfiles on the server. I fired up Query Analyzer and ran a select on one of the remote dbs and found that the record that remote user 2 is missing appears when seleced from remote user 1's database.
We are on SLX 6.2.3 and will likely be moving to 7.5.x this quarter. Was planning to recut remotes when upgrading, but curious if there is a way to correct this in the mean time?
thanks all

Derek,
Have you tried editing and resaving the records to get them to re-sync? If it's just a few records that might be a quick and dirty solution. If it fails again it also probably means something data or record related is the actual problem, as opposed to a "glitch" in a TEF that had that update or something along those lines.
