Help! History CompletedDate and CompletedUser different on Host/Remote

All;
I have an issue with a customer (7.2.1, SQL 2000) wherein they have different History COMPLETEDDATE and COMPLETEDUSER values on the Host as opposed to their Remote Office.
On the Host database the CompletedDate matches the STARTDATE plus the DURATION of a History record. Thus if the startdate is 22/03/2009 11.00, and the duration is 30 minutes, then the completeddate on the Server is 22/03/2009 11:30.
The CompletedDate on the Remote Office, however, often shows a completely differnet CompletedDate value. Using the example above, the same History record on the Remote Office will have a StartDate of 22/03/2009 11:00, a duration of 30, but will have a CompletedDate of 25/03/2009 17:32.
The Modifydate for the HIstory records will also be slightly different - usually 3 to 10 seconds higher on the Host database than on the Remote database.
The collation is the same on both databases (SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS).
Is anyone aware of any sync issues with 7.2.1 that can cause the this problem?
