Schedule sync not running and Hotfix 10/11

I actually have 2 problems. I am on SalesLogix version 6.2.6. I recently installed the hotfixes but I got an error when I tried to install hotfix 10/11: "Error 1328: Error applying patch to file C:\Config.MSi\PT172.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch..." Because this hotfix did not install correctly, the version for my SyncServer.exe is still 6.2.6.1009. The only way I got to install hf 10/11 was to uninstall Saleslogix and then re-install it. And then I installed hf 10/11 first and then all the other hotfixes. Is there an easier way than uninstalling and then reinstalling? Btw, I got this error on all the remotes and servers.
My second problem has to do with my scheduled synchronization. Ever since I've applied the hotfixes, occassionally my scheduled synchronization will stop running. No errors in the event viewer. To get it going again, I would either restart the services or reboot the server. I'm guessing it has to do with my hotfix problem but I'm not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
