Sync as a service

Running slx 6.2.3 on SQL 2000.
Right now our sync server is set up to run using Windows Tasj Scheduler. This seems to work ok but I'd like to set it up to run as a service -- and I'm not sure that I've done it right. I see that there is a process running called SyncService.exe. And, there is a service running called SalesLogix Synchronization.
I have set up a Sync Automation Services job in Admin. This does not seem to be running. I cannot get the Monitor Console to connect to it. When I try, I get the freen icon but no plus sign next to it. I cannot actually view anything.
Does anyone know what the appropriate version of the Monitor Console is for slx 6.2.3? Is there something special I have to do in order to get the service installed properly?
Thanks.

Have you stop and restart the Sync Service after creating the Job? |

Thanks, Raul.
Yes. I have stopped and restarted, rebooted and done just about everything short of throwing the server out the window. |

When you defined the SyncAutomation Service settings, did you clicked on "Apply Job"? Also, do you have a Path setup for the Synchronization profile?

Yes and yes.
My monitor exe is 6.2.0.nnnn. Does it need to be upgraded to 6.2.3? How? |
