Using v7.2.2, did a territory realignment to change ownership for a bunch of accounts. The changes show up server-side but don't appear to have synced. Anyone experienced an issue like this? Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by saying that the changes "don't appear to have synced"?

Is this based on the results reported by the users?
If in doubt, you should check the TEFF files being generated by the Sync server to truly verify if certain changes are not being sent out.

There are many delays to consider, plus there is always the possibility (biggest) that the user isn't fully synchronized (not because of the user, just the nature of sync).

For instance, if you run the Realignment and you have not closed Administrator (or refreshed it), the log files remain open (yes, there is a time limit, but chances are that the file will not be included on the next cycle).
Once the Sync runs, it will generate the TEFF files. This is the time to verify what changes are included within the TEFF files to verify what will be going to the remote.

From a remote's perspective, you always need to check if they have any pending files. There is always the chance that they are running behind, and since they sync infrequently, it takes a while for their system to get caught up. For example, a user that syncs once a week, if his system needs to request for a file to be retransmitted, the request won't be sent out for a week. And, the file won't be retreived until the following week, thus putting him behind at least 2 weeks before getting the updated copy of the file. On the other hand, if a user syncs twice a day, any such issues will only take a day or two to get fixed.....

This happened on numerous users' machines. Nearly a week had passed with many manual syncs on the server and client sides. The ownership was changed from Everyone to a new team but the changes did not take on the workstations. Sage Support was able to reproduce the issue so I suspect this must be a defect. Thank you for your help and insights on the sync process.

I believe there is a defect with Territory Realignment and sync when you use the reporting feature. Did you run the report during the realignment process? If so, you need to do the realignment again and this time dont use the report.

By reporting feature I am referring to the prompt "Before realigning, would you like to view a report detailing the accounts affected?"
