Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to v7.5 and so far so good. Except now I cannot register the server (which also hosts the db) as a sync server.
When starting up the syncserver, it tells me that: "This machine has not been registered with the database as a SyncServer. Would you like to do this now?" then I click yes, type in the Admin password and then it gives me this error:

"<> The site code on this machine is not valid for the database you are trying to log onto."

The Sync Server setting look fine in the Workgroup Administrator also the Sync Transfer profile looks good. All pointing to the right server and folders.

Does anyone have ideas??

Check the BrancOptions, Systeminfo, SyncServer and the SyncServiceFile tables. Sometimes you have bad data in there that isn't quite visible on the Administrator but may be throwing the SyncServer off.

Thanks for the clues. It seems that site code in the SyncServer table did not match up.
Another place that leaves room for improvement.
