cannot create a remote user database

hello, I have a problem that I haven't seen before and have tried a number ways without success and I am really stuck.
The version of SLX is 7.5.2 The SQL is SQL server 2008. The operating system is Windows 2003 R2.
Whenever I try and create a new database for a remote user I get this message = The provider cannot be found or it has not been installed properly.
If anyone can help me with problem I will be very grateful.

Hi Derek,
Have you Installed the SQL 2005 Native Client redistributable (sqlncli.msi) located in the D:\Redist\SQL 2005 Native Client folder on the SalesLogix installation DVD
Failing that, try Unregister & Re-register the following .dlls
SLXDBEngine.dll
SLXOLEDB.dll
SLXSystem.dll

Thank you Travis, I will try installing te SQL 2005 Native client.
I do have a question: How do I register and unregister the dlls that you mention? I have done this before. Thanks for your assistance. |
