My remote user is trying to sync and the message on sync log " file x was ignored because it is older than your database"


pls explain what does this mean?

This warning normally indicates that there are files left over from a previous version of the remote database.

Ideally you should be deleting them. If you create a new remote database for a remote user you should clear out the Archives and Outfiles folders of any TEF's with that users old site code and/or keybase code.


Just one question. Do you stop the SalesLogix Syncronisation service when creating remote databases..?
