Hi All,



A remote user has access to all accounts and contacts and all other related information. A certain user can view an opportunity (when logged on to the  Saleslogix Lan Client 7.5.4 client) but cannot view the same opportunity on the  Saleslogix RemoteClient 7.5.4 client. The synchronization on both the remote laptop and server has been running successfully at their respective schedules.


Any idea or resolution as to why the synchronization could be missing out some opportunities

I had a look, but there is no files in the : “c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SalesLogix\Sync\QUEUEFiles” folder.


Also, whenever an opportunity has been created from network users, then no files are created in the WGLOGS folder, but if an account/contact or any other transaction has been created, then the relevant files are created in the WGLOGS folder.

Who is the owner for the Opportunity [SECCODEID] and is this user on that team?

SECCODEID is SYST00000001, which I assume belongs to Everyone?

Synch not working at all for the Opportunity table? Something broken in SecProfiles for the Opportunity. SecTableDefs not equal to the actual underlying Opportunity Table perfectly......can you add a dummy field to the Opportunity Table in SLX Admin Database Manager? Do changes to the Display Name for an Opportunity field stick (log back out of SLX Admin and then log back in to prove!).


Sounds like something is hosed.....


What database server are you running on for the central server? Remotes?  What's the Character Width of the Opportunity Table ? Maybe an invalid data type.....


hmmmm..... OpportunityId is Unique, not null, and not blank for every single row???


When's the last time you ran integrity checker against Opportunity?


No NULL\or blank SeccodeID's allowed.


No NULL\or blank AccountManagerId's allowed.....are all of them Accurate?
