When I get to step 4 of 6 of the 'Saleslogix Mobile Personal Server Setup', I am getting the following message after selecting my database 'SLXRemote' in the first drop-down box 'Select Database':

"Unable to find an existing connection for database SLXRemote and user <>. ...."

When I select the database the 'Saleslogix User' is filled in with the correct username for the machine. The 'Database Name' is filled in with 'SLXRemote' but the 'Connection Name' is blank and when I click on the drop-down nothing appears. I type in the correct connection name, 'SLXREMOTE', but this does not help. The 'Saleslogix User ID' field is also filled in.

Any ideas?

I can login into SLXRemote using the SLX Client with the username and pwd.

I detached and then attached the remote db and was able to finish the mobile server config. Now I am getting the following when I try to sync:

15:48:58.340 Warning Authentication User '9850' could not authenticate or is not active

15:48:58.776 Error BlackberryDMAddIn 9850

BlackBerryDesktopAddin.ServerException: Checking if user has a Client System assigned : HTTP request returns error.. Security check failed. at BlackBerryDesktopAddin.SyncOutputWriter.WriteSyncOutputToDevice(WSInterface _WS, DeviceChannelProcessor _ChannelProcessor, SyncStatistics _Stats) at BlackBerryDesktopAddin.TablesProcessor.ProcessSyncTable(DeviceChannelProcessor channelProc, String device, Boolean& cancel) at BlackBerryDesktopAddin.UI.IntellisyncAddin.Process(IRimUtility pRimUtility, IRimDatabaseAccess pRimDeviceAccess)

I made sure the password was the same on the lan client/ mobile client/ and mobile server config.

Any thoughts?
