Can't connect to the Mobile Server in the SLX Mobile Administrator.
Posted: 13 Jun 08 12:41 PM
I'm getting an error when I try to Connect to a Mobile Server in the SLX Mobile Administator. We are on v4.5 and this was working but stopped about a month ago. I get this error when I click on the Connect to a Mobile Server link and after I enter the admin password - 'Error during application initialization: The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found.'
I'm not able to sync the Blackberry also and receive the same error.

Hey Erik,
Hope you are keeping well. The 404 is a page not found error and if you are getting the same error for both the BB device and also the mobile administrator I would first look at your IIS configuration. Are you able to navigate to the mobile web site in a standard browser from your desktop. You might also what to go to the server in question and open up IIS and try to browse locally to the default page. Since you are getting the same error for both the device and mobile admin I would initially rule out any BES connectivity/security.
Kind Regards,
