Synchronization error on Blackberry with SLX Mobile personal 5.0

Error occurred during synchronization: SalesLogix Mobile has not been properly configured for synchronization:Device specific error Error reading input data from device: System.ArgumentException: Value does not fall within the expected range. at DESKTOPAPILib.IRimRecords.get_Item(Int32 index) at BlackBerryDesktopAddin.TablesProcessor.ReadHeaderData(DeviceChannelProcessor _ChannelProc, InputData _inputdata) at BlackBerryDesktopAddin.TablesProcessor.ProcessSyncTable(DeviceChannelProcessor channelProc, String device, Boolean& cancel)Check the settings on the BlackBerry Client on the currently connected device.
The app loads on the BB but doesn't allow a change to the settings - login works but sync stops in the middle with the error during synch message. Logs really don't show much. I installed sp1 but it did not fix the issue. Am I looking at completely reinstalling? |

Ok Mark,
So first Desktop Sync - Personal Edition or Enterprise with Desktop? It looks as if this is a error that occurrs in the desktop while syncing correct? When you logged into the client the 4th tab is settings, I do not have a remote setup here but I suspect one of the settings falls out of range. On the personal server were the settings setup and pointing to a correct remote database?

Had the same error - in Desktop Manager, used the Application updater, which wanted to load all the languages I had told it not to during installation. I let it install that, and an update to Help. After restart, ran synchronization and it completed without error.
Hope that helps Alan |
