checking if manifest file has been changed: Failure in detecting manifest changesYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Customer is Standard mobile 5.1, blackberry slx7, Saleslogix 7.2.2. Created a new package thru my mobile architect including the following changes:

- Added the DynaLink dl_account table
- Created the table relationship to account
- Added a new tab to the account form for the 6 fields that are on the table
- Added the dl_account to the server2client map

Applied the package thru the customers mobile administrator. When I try to sync back to my blackberry simulator, I get the following message:

Checking if manifest file has been changed: Failure in detecting manifest changes.

If I reapply the original package, it syncs just fine.

Help! Any ideas?

Ed,

Hmmm. You reapply the initial package and then it detects the change? If that is so then the code to read token that is embedded in the cod file has a problem in it. I would suspect that this should be escallated through support as it is internal process code and not something the general BP community has control over. You may be asked to remove and reinstall the application, do a sync and try again to determine if there was some level of corruption when the cod was initially applied. I cannot be certian but it is a possiblity.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to say that when I apply the original package without the customizations the simulator syncs just fine, when I apply my custom package i receive the manifest error when syncing.

Ed, if the files are signed and deployed the change should be reconized. The version # is upped I assume as well. If these are all done I would then suggest contacting sage support. I am not certian what would be out of place in this case.
