how to get limited data from history table while syncing for blackberry client.

Hi,
for black berry client, History table in CRM database has large amount of data so it is taking lot of time to sync. even sometimes it breaks while syncing. I just wanted to know, is there any way that i can get only limited data for black berry while syncing even though CRM database will have full data. for example history table wil be having data concerned with database changes, emails, todo list, meetings and phone calls. Now i want to get data concerned with only meeting and phone calls for black berry client while syncing. But CRM database should have all data as it will used by web client as well.
Can anybody plz suggest me if any approach exist.
