Duplicating Activities

SLX Mobile Enterprise v5.6 with OTA via Blackberry Professional Software SLX v7.5.2
A remote user is adding activities. Each activity syncs to the server correctly as a single activity. These activities are synced as duplicates on the BlackBerry. They are not using IntelliSync or any other software that'd be pulling activities from SalesLogix. Has anyone seen something like this? Thanks! |

I believed this was isolated to a single user but it is not. And, it isn't just doubling the activity. With some activities, there are as many as 40 duplicates. I had the chance to walk through some scenarios with one user. My conclusion is that an activity, either added through SLX Lan or SLX Mobile, will first go on the calendar a single time as expected. Then, it appears that every sync cycle is causing the activities to be added again. I confirmed this with a manual sync, and this also explains the ever-increasing, variable number of duplicates per activity. Also, this has been identified to happen on a Blackberry Curve and a Blackberry Bold, so it doesn't appear to be model # specific. Under Activities within SLX Mobile, it has the one entry, so this is specifically isolated to activities being pushed to the calendar. |
