I want to show a small html report showing the top 10 contacts from yesterday, and I would like each to be a link that will open /slxmobile/#_contact_detail;C6UJ9A0002SS. This url doesn't work, I am wondering if anyone knows a format that does work.

My take, given that it is JavaScript client that renders HTML5, I think this may not be possible.

I believe that when you click on the link to open a Contact (or any other object), it actually sets the ID of the Contact you clicked on, and then it loads the Page

1. You can't use this because you can't authenticate to the SLX Mobile from a hyperlink.

2. The format is correct.....but the SLX Mobile isn't geared to handle short cuts like this.....

obviously it doesn't work with IE....and this may be your default browser.....

That said, I think it is possibe to build a Customization to handle this:

  You could build an Additional Page that actually reads the location from the browser, parses the Parameter and then loads the Page and Record:

e.g.  /Loader/#_loader_detail?entity=contact&id=SLXRECORDID

  One could modify the code on the Detail Page of this "entity" to then parse the URL and call the necessary javascript functions (e.g.  navigateToRecord()  .

  Doing so would ensure that internally the proper Variables are set, and once the detail page loads it would work correctly.
