Upon booting my PC my BlackBerry Desktop Manager runs syncing my BlackBerry with Outlook. When this occurs I always receive a message "Database login failed: Authentication failed" At this point I click OK and move on.

What is this message referring to? Why is it occuring? How can I address this issue?

Just curious- is SalesLogix Mobile involved?

No it is not.

The issue was resolved and occurred due to sign in.

this is anil, even we are facing the same problem regarding the saleslogix"database failed:authentication failed" could you just help us knowing how this issue has been resolved

Being the Administrator, I log in as myself and other users when they experience issues to replicate on my PC. I realized, after I log in as a user other than myself, the next time I open/run Outlook or my Blackberry Desktop Manager the connection between my application (Outlook/Blackberry) is lost. In order to reestablish I have to sign in as myself again.
