Saleslogix Mobile 4.5 Error HTTP status 405

| Trying to configure the Saleslogix Mobile administrator. When I try to login to the mobille connection, I receive the following error: 'Error during application initialization: the request failed with HTTP status 405: method not allowed'. |

Hey Ed,
Hopefully you got this resolved however if you did not. It looks like you may have the ASP.net application pointing to the wrong version of the .net framework. Basically when the web server is installed it creates a virtual directory in the InetPub\WWW\SageMobile ... directory. If you are installing 4.5 or a lower version it should be using the .net 1.1 framework. Is it possible that 2.0 of the framework is on the server as well. The best was to check is to go into the IIS Management console. Locate the SageMobile Virtual Folder, click properties from the context menu and check the asp.net tab. If it is not pointing to 1.1042 or something like that it should be. Restart IIS and you should then be able to log in.

| Mark - Thanks for the reply. Turns out that the IIS was installed after the .net 1.1. Had to register the .net 1.1, then uninstall and reinstall the mobile server. Then I was able to log in. You are correct, both 1.1 and 2.0 were on the server. |
