Missing comments tab after upgrade from 6.2 to 7.2

Hi all,
Thanks for all of the great information I have acquired from this site so far. We are in the process of upgrading our old SLX 6.2 to 7.2 and I currently have a test environment where I have completed the upgrade. Things are going well for the most part but in the 6.2 client we have a tab in the Account Detail window called Comments - This tab contains a lot of free-form notes about test numbers, connectivity, etc. for our customers. It has completely disappeared in our 7.2 install, and I can't find reference to it in Architect or Administrator. Does anyone have any info on how to get this back?

| I see now that after the upgrade, our freeform "comments" from 6.2 made it into the NOTES column of the ACCOUNTS table, which is odd because this column is a varchar(16) and the comments are very large. I decided to use SQL to push our comments into the BUSINESS DESCRIPTION field (which we were not currently using) and move the business description box into its own tab with more space so it behaves much like our original comments window does. This is working out fine in my tests so I think we're all good. Just wanted to update this post with the results - If anyone has other suggestions I'd still be very grateful. |

| It's not varchar(16) but text(16). This is a memo field - the 16 bit refers to a pointer to the location (as opposed to physical size) where this data is stored (up to 2Gb's of it in fact !). |
