It may work, but its not recommended. First, there are new fields in 7.2 which will not be in a 7.0.1 DB. And I'm not sure but there may be changes in the SalesLogix OLE-DB (ADO) access method. Then again, try really testing the client under these conditions. That includes Outlook Integration and mail merge. It will be interesting to know the results.

.. It's just not supported... Avoid it.. just upgrade the db or build out a VMWare 7.0.1 test environment.
