Write Email Using Template error following upgrade

All:
Following an upgrade from 6.2.6 to 7.2, some users get an error when Clicking Write/Email Using Template. The users should get a list of templates they've used in the past, but instead the error appears instantly.
"Exception EStringListError: List Index Out of bounds(4) Exception Location: [00428079]"
Everythings OK when the the users log in on a different client, so it's probably something int he local cache. Any suggestions for a more surgical way to fix this other than deleting all local files & re-install?

This is a defect in SalesLogix that rears its ugly head only for certain people (to my knowledge, no pattern has been figured out why it happens)
You can resolve the error by editing the registry on the affected machines and going to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SalesLogix\MailMerge\\Users\\WriteMenu\Letter and deleting the keys there EXCEPT for the default key.
As always, back up your registry prior to working on it. I take no responsibility when it comes to regsitry editing
