We are currently on SLX 6.1, and will be upgrading to 7.2 later this year. Our users would like to store the accounts' Dun & Bradstreet number on the database. Does anyone know if there is a pre-defined field for this on the 7.2 database?

Barb - There isn't a field specifically created for DUNs #. There are the userfields, and some other general fields that technically could be used, but don't have a visible field on the client side. We typically tack on a tab view to the client side with account detail or extension data from a custom field for something specific like DUNs, NAICS, etc.

Hope this helps,
Todd

Your best bet is to use the architect if you have a license for the program. You can drop a user defined field or add a completely new database field and put a single-line textbox for DUNS number.

You can contact your business partner for more information on making the modification or obtaining a license for architect
