Terminal Server - The textbox "Log on to" at connection remain empty

Hello,
We have upgraded our SalesLogix 7.2.2 server to SalesLogix 7.5.;p It’s running good and all computers can connect on it (with SalesLogix Client LAN).
But some users use sometime a connection with Terminal Server.
This terminal server has been upgraded to SalesLogix Client 7.5 (There was SalesLogix 7.2.2 client Lan before)…
When the user connects to the server and double click on SalesLogix to run it, the application asks to user to create a new connection.
We create a new connection, the application find the good SLX server and connection but next, in “Log on to”, the textbox is blank and we can’t connect to SalesLogix Server.
it worked well SLX 7.2.2 but not 7.5…
An idea ?
Thanks,
Ben

This is usually caused by insufficient permissions to the registry. To maintain a 'constant' connection, SalesLogix writes this information to the HKCU\Software\SalesLogix\ADOLogin\... key. The System Administrator will need to allow users this permission.

Ben,
Perhaps persistence is the issue.
This is a quick test for user persistence (another setting - some admins will allow full rights while the user is logged in, but once they log out, some of the session’s information will be wiped clean from the TS server)
- Log in as a normal user
- Verify the existence or lack of the ADO Connection registry key
- Create a link to the SLXServer and log in to SLX
- Log Out of SLX
- Verify the existence or lack of the ADO Connection registry key (if user has sufficient rights; the key will be populated)
- Log out (as opposed to Disconnect) of TS session
- Log in as a the user again with fresh session
- Verify the existence or lack of the ADO Connection registry key (if user has permanence, the key will still be there and populated.)
