Access Denied --- Error attaching remotes

I upgraded from 7.0.1 to 7.2.2 but now am getting acess denied error message when attaching a remote database.

I am on SQL 2005.

What is the exact error message?

What is the location of the remote db (before it is attached)?

Does the error happen for all remotes, or just selected ones?

Go to the SQL 2005 (SALESLOGIX) service and go to the properties. Change Log on as to Local System Account. Stop and Restart the service. attach the database. Also it you have MSDE 2000 installed it often helps to stop the MSSQLSERVER service prior to attaching. You can restart when done.
