Verify Lookup functionality 6.2.6 to 7.5

After our 7.5 upgrade many users have complained about the Opp Description Lookup not working as it did in 6.2.6. I am a developer and not a SLX users so I have no clue how it worked before so please educate me.
Schedule a phone call. Click on the magnifying glass to open the opportunity description lookup. They claim it auto displayed their opportunities. It was empty on open I found the Auto Query on Open thinking that was it but the said no it displays all the opps on open. Not just theirs.
Am I missing something or are they just crazy?

RJ, I noticed the other day SP1 is out. Did they fix it in SP1 or do you know if they plan to fix it at all?
Guess I should log a call and complain.

Nope.. not fixed in SP1.
There's a bunch of bugs (both Windows and Web.. that I doubt will ever get fixed. It's just the nature of the software "game". Microsoft never fixes all their bugs.. so why should we expect Sage will.. or any other software vendor?
Having said that.. we fix the bugs (that are not hard code issues) our clients (or us) find.. even if Sage never does.
