Upgrade Database to 7.5 and remain working with 6.2.6
Posted: 12 Oct 09 7:43 AM
I want to know if it possible to start upgrading slx database from version 6.2.6 to 7.5 and remain to work with saleslogix server 6.2.6 , so we have time to migrate and update our remote, or if there is a way to synchronize the database 6.2.6 with a new one at version 7.5
Please someone can get me an answer back if they have migrated to new version 7.5
Thanks

No, you would not be wise to do this. Use VMWare or similar product to prepare your changes and then upgrade "all at once". VM enables you to test/prototype and test again. You can then attach the image to VM Server and have your users test it too. But, in essence, the answer is no.
