Hi - have been running 7.2. for about 18 months now and the system is pretty stabile. 100 users plus 10 web based.

As Windows 7 starts to creep in, am having to look at upghrading to 7.5 sp 2 as my reseller tells me Sage do not support 7.2 on Windows 7.

I've heard some stories about the web client on 7.5 dropping leads? I'd appreciate the benefit of any ones experience of upgrading and what to look out for.

Conversely - any glowing reports about 7.5 sp 2?

Also out network upgrade to windows server 2008 is pending thios change - we currently run 2003.

Thanks

We're just in the process of completing an all web 7.2.2 upgrade to 7.5.2. Initial trials show to be promising but we're not far enough along to provide hard stats. It looks like Sage has changed a significant portion of the functionality to use async service requests to reduce the number of post backs and full screen refreshes. This is definitely making the application appear to respond faster, it also makes it alittle harder to debug and customize. We did notice significant measurable improvements between 7.5 sp1 and 7.5 sp2.

Regards,

James Sutton
