After 2 upgrades from version 6.2.4 to version 7.0 of a Remote Client, both installations give the following error after login:

Exception EOleException:
Invalid column name 'CAPTION'

Exception location:
[00569CF9]{SalesLogix.exe}

According to Upgradeplan I should not have to create new remote databases. But just start the client after upgrading the software to 7.0.

Does any one know a solution for this problem or do I need to create remote databases for all remote users ?

I believe you need to run the Sync Client on the remote to get the Remote DB updated to the 7.0 Format.
I would Manually run Sync on both the Server and the Client until both run clean.

Did you get a solution for this? I'm getting the same error. I already ran Sync and Server and on Remote office. But still getting the error...verified the database and found that database is not updated with upgrade changes.

I created a new database for all remote users.

In the meantime I am already upgraded to version 7.2 service pack 2.

Just before upgrading the server I stopped the sync server and changed the ftp password. So the remote clients were not able to sync any more from that point. Then I upgraded the server and made the remote client software available. When the remote client was upgraded to 7.2.2 I gave them a new sync profile with the right password and directed them to import this new profile and sync first.

Any resolution to this? We're getting this on v7.5.2. network clients post-upgrade. All bundles appear to be installed. And as to that column, I've confirmed that the CAPTION column does exist in the Lookup table.
