Hi All, After upgrade to 7.5 and ran SP2 when logged on as Administrator, we recieved the following error. This error does not appear when logged on as users.

Startup Error:
Access violation at addresss 00956707 in module 'SalesLogix.exe'. Read of address 0000023C

Anybody has an idea what is happening here. Thanks

is this only happening when you start Saleslogix Client and login as the admin user?

I have seen similar errors when there is an "Email" profile defined (on the Admins Settings) but it doesn't exist on the Machine.

Go into your Options and set the Mail System to "None" (probably even uncheck the "Auto logon to Email" checkbox as well). Restart SalesLogix and see if the error goes away.

Also, if your admin user or other users have been to setup to have admin roles, in the Saleslogix administrator, uncheck this option. Restart your Saleslogix system and check if the error occurs.

I had this problem once before, then re-do the roles if need be.
