fiogf49gjkf0d Hi Derek,
You will need to upgrade your AIS application and reset the adapter settings. All exisiting transformations will still work happily, however, one question to be asked is in relation to your Sage Line 500 version. If you are running 5.5 to 6 there should not be much of an issue, however, if you are running v7 there will be a few tweaks in the connector required. The latest L500 adapter has a multiple choice for Sage versions which need to be set.
Please remember to shut down the AIS services and to backup you Integratio If you are changing SQL versions for the SLX upgrade portion, I would suggest that you also backup your Integration Services folder before starting. You shoud also export you collaborations to be on the safe side, but reimporting them after a failure requires a few SLX data tweaks.
Please also bear in mind that you are also upgrading the InfoPortal components and you may have more than one Sage company linked (which was a common part of our implementations).
The important factor here is to make sure that all of the AIS services are stopped and disabled through the process. If you dont, after a reboot they will restart and problems can occur with duplications.
Your business partner should be able to help with this, however we can help if you wish as we have been developing AIS solutions and extensions for a long time.
Regards,
Dave
