After upgrading to V7, I have a remote office that will not mailmerge - I determined one of the three MM_ tables is missing (don't have an slx system in front of me at the moment to pinpoint the table).

The supported method would be to cut a new remote office - 10g to move from portland maine to portland oregon.. ugh.

I am considering the following and would like some feedback on whether this is a viable route: Backup production, bundle table in question, drop table from production, reinstall table with bundle creating logs to create table on remote..

Is this a viable solution or should I suck it up and cut the goliath remote? Tech support said it was viable, but not supported.

Thanks?

It's a viable approach.. BUT:
A - Make sure the RO is fully sync'd
B - NO users running local or on the RO when doing this
C - Disable the (main) sync service
C - Backup (of course
D - DO it!
E - Force a manual (main) sync
F - Force a manual RO sync
G - Do E,F several times and check for errors
H - If errors.. probably re-cut the RO.
