If we hold back the MS TZ/DST patch, and don't upgrade to SLX 626, will we have problems in March when DST starts? Like having to change clocks manually, or will it only affect certain locations?

Thats a good question. I would suspect you would be OK so long as you do not apply the MS TimeZone patch and apply the SLX workaround to workstations where it was applied.

IMHO, it would be worth it for you to upgrade to 6.2.6 or later.

I think you will have to set the time on each machine. The point of the MS patch is so the OS knows what day to change for DST. Other then a pain in the rear having to change client machines one at a time I can't imagine any other problems not puting in the patch. ML

If you are working in an Exchange environment you should be doing an upgrade on your Exchange server as well. here is a link from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com:80/kb/931667.
