fiogf49gjkf0d I'm new to SLX. Does anyone have information on using a copy of your production database in a test environment?I'm upgrading from v6.2.6 to 7.0.
I have a spare/blank computer I would like to load v7.0 client on for testing purposes. Now, I figure that I need to upgrade the database first. What is the steps for doing so? The user documentation is lacking the simple details. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Have you read the document 'Upgrading Sage CRM SalesLogix from Version 6.2 to 7.0' ? This 96 page document is hardly lacking details
The sections around Task 29 in the Upgrade Workplan describe the Database Upgrade, but you must read the whole document. |

fiogf49gjkf0d Liks Stuart says... it's ALL there in the documentation.. A - You can load copies down from the SalesLogix Support site B - It's on the DVD (check teh support site (A) for the latest copy)
Follow it to the letter!
What's that commercial on TV?.. it's so easy a .... can do it!
Well. not THAT easy.. but just follow the instructions...
Oh yes.. because of DST you will have to install 7.0 w/SP1 -- rjl |
